I would kindly ask her if she would do an open adoption. But if the child is in Child Protective service would she be able to ask CPS if she can do an open adoption in a different state? Hi 'Help911', How are you doing today? I'm so sorry your friend lost her baby to CPS. Is this friend willing do an 'open adoption' for this child? This is where the mother will allow the child to be adopted but she will have full contact with the child (if she desires). I pray that things will get better for you. Times are hard for so many these days. And the mortgage and housing market is becoming unbelievable. Hang in there and trust in God. ekikaseven
